  1. 7 N Moore is the DSNY district 1 office, as I recall

  2. Can someone explain the dispensary applications listed here? Are they already approved? Are they likely? Is there limit? What exactly are the regulations?

    Thank you.

    • They are applicants who will seek the first round of approvals from CB1. If they pass that, they then will have to compete in a lottery for their license.

      • Thank you for the insight. Do you know how many are likely to be approved by CB1? Also, how many lottery slots are available for CB1? (I’m trying to understand how many locations we should be expecting in our neighborhood)

        • CB1 is making sure that they are not violating any of the distance rules from schools, etc, and that they are not currently operating as an illegal smoke shop. But beyond that there is not much else they can do to reject them.

  3. RE Luzzo’s: This is NOT the Italian Food Hall, which has made scant progress since announcing it would indeed open after a several year lull in activity. Luzzo’s is the pizzeria on the eastern side of 40 Wall.

  4. Ah yes 22 new dispensaries, exactly what the neighborhood needs! I’m all for giving the people what they want but the amount of smoke shops/dispensaries downtown is unnecessary.

  5. I encourage folks to attend this meeting!!! We already have enough illegal smoke shops, if we mentioned that hopefully CB1 can do something about it. Please don’t say fill out that dang form because it’s so long and confusing I rather take the SAT test then fill out that form.
