  1. That 40 Wall application is likely not for Nero Lab, whose ship seems to have sailed during the pandemic, but for the Neapolitan pizza place tucked into the right corner. (It’s called Luzzo’s; it used to be called Neapolitan Express.)

  2. Luzzo’s is NOT Nero Lab. Luzzo’s is the pizzeria on the east side of 40 Wall and is the only retail tenant remaining in the building as it continues to lose office tenants above due to present ownership.

Regarding Terravita, this is NOT by the Charging Bull. It is at the southeast corner of 1 West Street (Battery Place and Washington). This is a large space they are taking over. It’s been empty for years.

  3. Any more info on the open date of Baires Grill in the former Palm space? Is it the same chain that is down in the Miami?

  4. “Can I just note that all these applicants talk about creating an “upscale” experience and then the come with these ridiculous names…”

Is there a way to view these applications? The CB1 website just lists the names, unless I am missing something

  5. Does anyone know if the Safe Haven at 105 Washington was discussed on 1/17? From the recording it appears Beekman was discussed yet 105 is slated to open earlier and is supposedly is a single person shelter without limitations on drug use etc and is within 500 feet of PS 150 an elementary school. Why are people not more concerned about this and what is being done in terms of security and mandatory testing as I thought drug use was prohibited that close to a school….
