Seen & Heard: PS 234 fence returns

RESTORED PS 234 FENCE COMES BACK

PICKLEBALL IN HUDSON RIVER PARK
If you are one of the thousands of slaves to the trendiest racket sport in decade, Hudson River Park has opened four pickleball courts on the river at the end of 34th Street. Courts are free and open to the public from 6a to 1a, and are first-come, first-served (literally). These courts are available as an interim, temporary use until permanent park is developed. More info here.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD, BY ROBERT RIPPS
Tribecan and photog Robert Ripps sent this image as his digital holiday card: dramatic storm clouds over the neighborhood. Here’s to sunny skies in 2004 to all.
