Seen & Heard: Plans for Lunar New Year

CHINATOWN LUNAR NEW YEAR PARADE & FESTIVAL
In case you want to mark your calendar, the Lunar New Year parade in Chinatown hosted by Better Chinatown is scheduled for Sunday, Feb.25, 1p. The route: Mott & Canal to Chatham Square to East Broadway towards the Manhattan Bridge, completing on Eldridge and Forsyth Streets towards Grand Street next to Sara D. Roosevelt Park. See more info here.

THE LAWN CLUB IS OPEN
The long-gestating Lawn Club at the Seaport at 1 Fulton is open. More soon when I can get down there, but the idea is you book a lawn by the hour to play old-fashioned lawn games like ladderball, bocce, cornhole, kan jam or “beersbee,” where players try to knock a wooden beer bottle off a pole. See more info here.

UNOFFICIAL SUCCESSION TOURS
I am not a fan of “Succession” so I can’t vouch for these — just passing along something I caught on the Downtown Alliance blog: unofficial Succession tours of Downtown that include the Woolworth Building, the Four Seasons, 4 WTC, Zuccotti Park, 40 Wall and The Battery, where the final scene takes place. The tours are $39. (I had no pictures of the shots on file, but I do have images for 10 different film permits!)

THE ROYA & TRUMAN SHOW
Longtime Odeon hostess Roya Shanks, who is an actress, has a part in FX’s “Feud: Capote vs. the Swans,” starring everyone and directed by Ryan Murphy. Streaming now on Hulu.
