Dentist coming to Greenwich and Duane
It seems like there a mini local surge in dental care facilities. We have Wally, and the new dentist on Warren and now Ritual Dental coming to Greenwich and Duane (thanks to B. for the eyeball and heads up). (This was the offices for Tribeca Associates.)
I will learn more when they open — the website says May 6 — and will officially be a new kid, but in the meantime it seems they are a regular dentist, offering cleanings, exams, whitening, orthodontic exams and fillings etc, but they also focus on preventative care and oral health: “Ritual’s oral microbiome platform helps you prevent, predict, and treat diseases while revealing the connections between oral health and the rest of the body.”
The company is listed as a technology company on LinkedIn, co-founded by dentist Nihal Bicakci, using artificial intelligence to assist with dental care: “Our proprietary AI technology assists clinicians in diagnostic accuracy and early disease detection.”

I thought this all sounded super duper awesome, but when I ran it by ChatGPT, she said she would be concerned that a dentist using these terms might be “selling, promoting, or generally being a proponent of some valueless or fraudulent cure, remedy, or solution, possibly without even knowing it.”
So now I’m just super duper confused. Cool chairs though.
