CRICKET HAS MOVED TO CHAMBERS
Cricket’s Candy Creations, the candy making experience from Tribecan Cricket Azima, has moved from its original location at 200 Chambers to a new space on Chambers in Greenwich — part of the former Petco space. More soon when they are set up.

PRINTEMPS IS COMING TO FIDI
Printemps, the French luxury department store that opened in 1865 in Paris, is opening at One Wall Street on Broadway. I am hoping for more info soon; their website says coming spring 2025. This is the brand’s first US initiative.

BEACH VOLLEYBALL FOR TWEENS AND TEENS
Manhattan Youth’s Friday Night Beach Volleyball program for grades 6 to 12 starts May 10 and runs through June 28 on the sand volleyball court on Pier 25. The instructional is for both beginners and experienced players who want to learn or sharpen their beach volleyball skills. The fee is $127. See details on times and register here.

COMMUNITY CENTER AT STUY CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS
The NYC Department of Education is conducting a major renovation to Stuyvesant High School’s HVAC systems this summer and will close the community center as a result. All active memberships will be extended for each day that the facility is closed. During this time, Asphalt Green will offer currently-active CCSHS members a free membership from July 1 to September 2, 2024. Register here for Asphalt Green.
