FITNESS CLASSES IN BOGARDUS
Bogardus Plaza has added a series of free workout classes on Tuesdays at 9a to 9:50. Dates are June 4, 11, 18, 25 for a full-body conditioning workout with functional fitness coach Matthew Brito. BYO mat or towel.

PINE STREET SCHOOL EXPANDS IN FIDI
Pine Street School took over some of the Blue School’s space at 156 William in February 2023, and now they have secured even more: an additional 40,000 square feet for the expansion of its middle school campus, just north of the school’s longtime home at 40 Wall. The expansion will allow the school to offer more amenities in science, fine arts, athletics and entrepreneurship. The space, designed by the Rockwell Group, includes a cafeteria with a green wall, a double-height library, science labs, a large maker space, a black box theater, and an athletics floor with dance and yoga studios. POP DANCE MOVES IN BPC
Battery Park City will host a celebration of Asian culture with the dance group Studio 245, who will show and teach the latest pop dance moves, today, Thursday, May 30, 6:30p.

SAILING SEASON IS OPEN AT THE SEAPORT
South Street Seaport Museum celebrated the start of the 2024 Summer Sailing Season on May 28 with the ceremonial ringing of the Ambrose bell. Tickets to sail on the 1885 schooner Pioneer and the 1930 tugboat W.O. Decker run now through October and range from $15–70. See more here.
