More Tribeca Bridal District news! (also there’s a rumor that Danielle Frankel Studio is also coming to the neighborhood, but they have not replied to confirm.)
Grace Loves Lace, a bridal boutique out of Australia, has opened at 51 Warren, between West Broadway and Church. The boutique was founded in 2011 by Megan Ziems, who was looking to reinvent the structured, traditional wedding dress. The gowns are handmade at the production facility in Burleigh Heads, Australia, and were originally e-commerce only; now she has boutiques in Australia, Canada, the UK. This is her 20th store in the US.
Ziems and her head designer source laces and embroideries from across the globe — Europe, Asia and Australia. They have also searched for a soft eco lace, and after two years of refinement, were able to collaborate with their main fabric supplier to create Lumi, a certified lace made from 96 percent recycled materials.
