Seen & Heard: German School Manhattan adding the littlest

GERMAN SCHOOL MANHATTAN EXPANDS YET AGAIN
German School Manhattan, which now has two spaces on Warren, is expanding yet again to add a 2s program to its preschool. The school was founded here in 2018 in the former Church Street School space and expanded to add the Park Preschool space on the south side of Warren in 2021. The school now goes up through 5th grade. (That’s director Julia Stratmann putting up their new cute windows this past summer.)

BROOKLYN BRIDGE ARCHES GETS $2 MILLION FROM FEDS
The city was awarded a $2 million federal Reconnecting Communities Grant to transform the Arches, the underutilized space underneath the Brooklyn Bridge, last year, and recently Congressman Dan Goldman joined Deputy Mayor Meera Joshi and DOT Commissioner Ydanis Rodriguez to celebrate the award.

BEL ANGE SPA OPENS ON LAIGHT
M. spotted a new medspa at 70 Laight: Bel Angé. More soon when I can stop by, but in the meantime, they offer injectables and fillers, body contouring, facial aesthetics, lasers, and weight loss programs. Find them here.

MILU OPEN AT BROOKFIELD
Jon Pepper wrote to say that Milu has opened at Hudson Eats. They offer Chinese regional cuisine in the form of rice bowls, salads, and share plates like brisket and spiced cauliflower. They have a few other locations in the city. More here.
