Cloud Gallery will close this week

Cloud Gallery, the framer that has been on West Broadway since 2015 (and which took over for a framer who was there in 2004 if not earlier) will close permanently on July 3. Thanks to J. for the photo and the heads up. (I *just* picked something up there!)

They have an Oyster Bay location and said that all items will be stored there until arrangements can be made for delivery. Weekly NYC drop-offs will begin on July 7. To arrange, call 212-619-2180 or mina@cfagallery.com.

This is actually a very prominent space in what is a gorgeous building. More on that soon.

  1. Oooh! Hoping Della’s can find a way to expand into that space!

  2. Charged $500 to frame a 18×24 print, and it took 6 weeks.

  3. So glad it’s closed. They ruined my artwork that took over a month to frame, and some hayseed named John in Farmingdale, calling himself the “owner”, called leaving a bunch of pathetic, nonsense excuses.

The removed my 1 star reviews at Yelp and Google, so that tells you what they were really up to.

I agree Lisa! Hopefully Della’s will expand, Liz the owner, is a true neighborhood gem and the staff is so wine-knowledgable.
