Seen & Heard: Local theater company’s new show

LITTLE ENGINE PRODUCES SECOND PLAY
Tribecan Teddy Miranne’s theater company, Little Engine Theater, will present “The Wasp” by Olivier Award-winning playwright Morgan Lloyd Malcolm (“Emilia”) from October 23 to November 15 at a private loft in the Financial District. Directed by Rory McGregor (“Tender Napalm,” Broadway’s “Glengarry Glen Ross”), The Wasp stars Colby Minifie (Amazon’s “The Boys,” Broadway’s “Six Degrees of Separation”) and Amy Forsyth (Broadway’s “Stereophonic,” HBO’s “The Gilded Age”). HEALTHYBABY HAS CLOSED ON WARREN
Healthybaby, which sold non-toxic products for babies and pregnant women — diapers, skincare, cleaning and supplements — closed its brick and mortar on Warren. It opened in 2021.

MEXI IS OPEN ON STONE STREET
Ramon Morado, better known as “Ramon of Wall Street” for his two decades as a banquet bartender in the Financial District, has opened an outlet of his Williamsburg restaurant — Mexi — on Stone Street. Morado has also created the cocktail and beverage programs in a number of Wall Street venues including Bayard’s Blue Bar and Harry’s Steakhouse on Hanover Square. This restaurant is walk-ins only, NB.

DAVIDOFF HUMIDOR IN BROOKFIELD HAS CLOSED
Davidoff, which had a humidor in Brookfield, has closed permanently. They have another location at 515 Madison. Thanks to J. for the tip.
