YOUTH BALLET AT THE GIBNEY THEATRE
The New American Youth Ballet will present a performance of The Nutcracker this Saturday, December 20, 2p and 7p, at the Gibney Theatre at 280 Broadway at Chambers. Tickets are $25, $15 for 12 and under. Order here. The company’s founders, Elizabeth Flores and Bonnie Fernandez, have worked with Downtown children since 9/11, formally founding the studio in 2011. They teach out of the Downtown Community Center on Warren.

LEON’S BAGELS IS OPEN IN FIDI
Leon’s Bagels, which opened at the end of 2023 on Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg and now has locations in Soho and Nolita, opened an outpost in Fidi in August at 12 John between Broadway and Nassau. More here.
