MAMDANI ‘FERVOR’ ON BROADWAY
Carl Glassman at the Tribeca Trib spent the day with the Mamdani faithful in the cold on January 1 (so you didn’t have to!) and got some great shots. It *was* the best attended inauguration ever. Mamdani was sworn in at midnight in the old City Hall station by state Attorney General Tish James and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders swore him in during the public inauguration on Thursday. DAN GOLDMAN WILL RUN AGAIN FOR CONGRESS
District 10 US Rep. Dan Goldman kicked off his reelection campaign in Chinatown this week. He was elected in 2022. The primary is June 23.

DISCUSSING LARGE-SCALE DEVELOPMENT

CHANGES AT THE BROOKFIELD MALL
A. reports that the Club Monaco at Brookfield –- women’s –- on the bottom floor, has gone out of business, but it looks like Madewell for men is coming into the space.
