Seen & Heard: Little League opening day is tonight

LITTLE LEAGUE OPENING DAY IS TONIGHT

MCNALLY DEUX RESTAURANT WILL BE CALLED FAUX
A. caught a story in Cultured magazine that George McNally, son of Keith, will call his restaurant on Church and White “Faux.” In the Q&A, McNally says Tribeca has become stagnant — which I guess is why he is opening a restaurant here. From Cultured: “The name is a joke at his own expense — ‘might as well beat them to the punch,’ he says — but it also reflects the awareness of what it means to open a restaurant under the weight of a local legacy, and the decision to do it anyway.”

BUCKLE MY SHOE CELEBRATES 45 YEARS
Buckle My Show, the preschool on Church (and with a second location in the West Village) is celebrating its 45th anniversary with a part at the Rooftop at the Highlight Room on the Bowery on May 14. The event is adults-only and will include music, food and drinks, and moments of reflection on nearly a half century. Get tickets here.

MMUSEUMM IS OPEN
The Mmuseumm, the tiniest museum in the world on Cortlandt Alley, is now open for the season. The current show: Rubble Around the World. Open Saturdays and Sundays from 11a to 6p.
