Seen & Heard: A new app to track dog’s days

NEW APP TO TRACK YOUR DOG’S DAYS
Robby Shavel, a dog owner in Battery Park City with Rufus, a 4-year-old Bernedoodle (that’s them above), has built an app called Dog Days, which tracks your dog’s day from meals and medicine to poops and pictures. (The impetus was one too many “Did he poop today?” texts with his partner.) Find more info here.

MR CHOW STILL GOING!
It looked to me that Mr Chow was closing, what with a liquor license application on the boards at CB1 for that very location. But they are still going and S. said that the maitre d’ said that the restaurant extended their lease for a year. I have tried emailing; will try again. In the meantime, I will listen to the Licensing Committee meeting on Thursday; the owners of Olio e Più, an Italian restaurant with three locations in the city, are first on the agenda.

IS 289 AUCTION STILL LIVE
I am late to this but there are still a few items on the IS 289 silent auction. Check it out here.

FRESH CURRY CLOSED PERMANENTLY?
A. sent a picture with a vacate order and it was the third mention I got today about Fresh Curry, the Indian spot on Church and Duane/Reade. They originally closed for renovations, but this looks more dire. The Google listing now says “closed permanently.”
