TICKETS FOR SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK
Today, Tuesday, June 9, Citizens Bank will host an in‑person ticket distribution event for the Public Theater’s Free Shakespeare in the Park, for its first full season in the newly renovated Delacorte Theater with the production of Romeo & Juliet. Tickets will be available at the branch at 110 West Broadway and Duane from noon to 2p, while supplies last. Neighbors usually arrive early, as lines typically begin forming in the morning.

PAC NYC ARTISTIC DIRECTOR WINS TONY
PAC NYC artistic director Bill Rauch along with Zhailon Levingston won Best Direction of a Musical for Cats: The Jellicle Ball at the 79th Annual Tony Awards held Sunday at Radio City Music Hall. The musical debuted at the PAC in June 2024 and moved to the Broadhurst Theater this winter. SUMMER EXHIBIT AT NEW YORK ACADEMY OF ART
The New York Academy of Art will host its 20th annual Summer Exhibition, a curated survey of recent work by the institution’s students, alumni and faculty, from June 11 through July 12 at the academy, 111 Franklin. The roster was determined by a panel of prominent downtown gallerists, including Tony Cox, founder of Club Rhubarb; Peggy LeBouef, senior director at Perrotin; and Hannah Root, senior director at Meghan Mulrooney Gallery. Open daily from 10a to 6p; opening reception on June 12 from 6 to 8p.

SEAPORT FARMERS MARKET IS OPEN
The Seaport Farmers Market (operated by Fulton Stall Market) has returned on Saturdays from 9a to 2p and will run until November 21 on South Street and Burling Slip beside Imagination Playground. There is produce, dairy, baked goods, honey, hot sauces and specialty pantry staples, plus live music.
