There’s so much going on in this town right now that a congressional race barely registers. But in fact, there’s a lot on the primary ballot and early voting is underway.
The congressional race is above my paygrade, but stay tuned for a solid summary and an aggregation of the latest news there.
Primary Election Day is June 23. Find your poll site here for both Primary Day and early voting. NB: your early voting poll site and Election Day site are not the same!
Early voting ends this Sunday, June 21 (yes, June is half over). The hours are generally 9 to 5p, and till 8p on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 16th and 17th. See exact hours here. Primary Day hours are 6a to 9p.
The candidates listed below are all Democrats; there are no Republican primaries for any of these seats. I have asked the candidates for the state senate and assembly seats to submit questionnaires and have a brief chat. The ones with links are complete; the others have not replied.
This may sound snarky, but there is a point to be made: of the 13 candidates below, only ONE has advertised with the TC or the Tribeca Trib.
