ESTATE SALE AT DUANE PARK PATISSERIE
Duane Park Patisserie, which closed permanently this past weekend, will hold an “estate sale/bake sale” this coming Saturday and Sunday, June 20 and 21, at the bakery from 8a to 4p. Branded merch (t- shirts, mugs) plates, platters, cake stands, some art work, tables, chairs, cake pans, cookie cutters, molds, Madeline’s extensive Halloween costume collection, the vintage stove, and more. They will also be selling some of our products that had been frozen raw (scones, opera cake, flourless chocolate cake).

WORLD CUP MATCH DATES STREET CLOSURES
The city is warning everyone to prepare for gridlock alert days on the following World Cup match dates: June 13, 16, 22, 25, 27, 30, July 5 and 19. On those dates, 42nd Street will be closed river to river, and the west ends of 32nd, 33rd, 40th and 41st will also be closed.

CHINATOWN RESTAURANT GETS JAMES BEARD TOP AWARD
Lei, a wine bar and restaurant on Doyers Street in Chinatown that opened last year, received the Best New Restauarant nod from the James Beard Foundation. The only other New Yorkers on the list were Hooni Kim at Meju in Queens for Best Chef, and Lee Campbell at Borgo for Outstanding Professional in Beverage Service.
