FIDI DAD TAKES ON FINANCIAL LITERACY
Fidi resident Jeremiah DeNonno has co-authored a book to teach kids about financial literacy called Get Your Game On: The Secrets of Smart Finance. It’s designed to help students in grades 3 through 9 build healthy money habits early. The book became an Amazon #1 New Release in the first quarter of this year and was approved by Jump$tart Coalition Clearinghouse, a database of curated financial education resources. “However, what matters most to me is its mission,” Jeremiah said, “helping kids learn real-world money skills before bad habits form.” In 11 interactive “adventures,” children will learn how money started, how it is earned, how to save wisely, how digital payments work, how to budget and invest and more. Each adventure includes activities, family discussions and key words to remember.

INSANE PENTHOUSE FOR SALE
I don’t usually note big sales here — they can advertise! But this one is remarkable. It’s the penthouse at 145 Hudson — the beautiful classic loft building across from the Holland Tunnel rotary that was converted in 2000 — listing for $59.5 million. When I was a print broker in my youth, I used several printers there. The Times wrote about this apartment when it first shattered the record for priciest apartment south of Columbus Circle, selling for $30 million in 2009.
