WORLD CUP FINALS AT GOVERNORS ISLAND
Governors Island will host the FIFA World Cup Final on the big screen on July 19 from 1 to 6p on the parade ground, along with offerings from Taco Vista, Six Coasts by Smorgasburg, and Project 96. SUMMER STREETS COMING TO MANHATTAN IN AUGUST
Summer Streets, when the city closes down entire avenues to traffic, will take place in Manhattan on August 1, 8 and 15 from 7a to 3p. Our route starts at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge and goes up Centre to Lafayette to Park Avenue South to Park Avenue, then makes a left on 110th and a right on Broadway all the way to Fort Tryon Park. You can bike to The Cloisters! You can also hit Summer Streets in Queens and Staten Island on July 25, and Brooklyn and The Bronx on August 22. See the schedule and route here.

EVENTS AT THE MUSEUM OF THE AMERICAN INDIAN
The Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian at One Bowling Green has a bunch of free events scheduled for summer. The museum is free and open daily 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Info here.
