So much news from this one little corner: I had no sooner finished this Nosy Neighbor post and this update on Modern Bread & Bagel when G. sent this listing for 130 Duane, the former Duane Street Hotel and former Sonder. It’s for sale.

They describe it as newly renovated and 100 percent leased on a long-term basis, though as we know now Modern is not planning to open there.

The hotel, with 116 feet on Church Street, is six stories and has 43 “keys” as they say in the hotel business.

The 15-year lease is with PRISM, to be operated by OYO Rooms — an Indian multinational hospitality chain that operates leased hotels, homes and living spaces. “OYO is one of the world’s largest branded hospitality and tech enabled companies with more than 157,000 locations,” the listing said. PRISM also operates Motel 6 and Studio 6.

The listing confirms that Modern still has the lease on the 1800-square-foot retail space.
