CITY OF WATER DAY AT THE SEAPORT
The South Street Seaport Museum will host a day of free activities for City of Water Day on Saturday, July 25, from 11am–5pm. There will be children’s story time aboard the Wavertree at 3, a lecture titled “Three Belts of Peace: What the Founding Fathers Forgot to Tell You” with Onondaga leaders of the American Indian Law Alliance at 3:30 at 213 Water Street, and free admission to the museum all day. The city’s last bout of torrential rains caused this crazy urban waterfall on Hudson off 165 Duane.

POETRY ON THE LILAC
City of Water Day is Saturday, July 25, and the Lilac, docked on Pier 25, will have a poetry reading from 4 to 5p. The light ship will be open for tours from 2 to 6p as usual.
