PARTY FOR THE HARBOR ON GOVERNORS
The Arts Center at Governors Island and LMCC will host a free celebration for the health of the harbor on Saturday, September 26, 10:30a to 3:30p. Learn how environmental organizations are taking action and join in creative activities at the Climate-Action Tailgate Fair. Make wearable art with Choctaw and Absentee Shawnee artist Tawnee McKinney, LMCC resident alum Marta Blair, artist Mitsuko Brooks, and nonprofit Riverkeeper. KEITH HARING EXHIBIT EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 1
The Keith Haring exhibit at 60 White has been extended until November 1. In collaboration with collector Lio Malca, the show has multiple floors and monumental paintings, sculptures — and even works that glow in black light. (Open Tuesday to Saturday, 10a to 6p.)
