Five Iron Golf coming to 200 Hudson?

I don’t have confirmation from the company, but Five Iron Golf, which offers indoor golf games, has applied for a liquor license for 200 Hudson, the giant space between Vestry and Canal. (Tribecan Cricket Azima had the space in 2023, then it was an immersive experience for a brief moment.)

The company started in 2017 with a location on Fifth Avenue in the Flatiron — hence the name — though the double meaning is helpful. They now have more than 30 locations — seven in the city, including Fidi on Stone Street — and are a franchise. There are memberships, leagues and walk-ins — or as the website says, “play, practice and party.”

This also from the website:
For the serious golfer, Five Iron hosts high-tech Trackman simulators, access to teaching professionals, practice time, leagues, club storage, showers, top-of-the-line clubs that are free to use during your booking, and in-house club fitting services.

For the less-than-serious golfer –and let’s be honest, most of the serious golfers too– Five Iron offers flexible event spaces, a full service bar, locally-crafted food menus, table games link [sic] ping pong and shuffleboard, and widescreen TVS perfect for watching your favorite game.
