••• Fernando Espinosa’s Dream Lights of the City opens today at One Art Space: “Ecuadorean-born Espinosa uses innovative infrared photography to create haunting aerial images; deeply delicate and darkly menacing, both familiar and unreal.”

••• I walked by Café Altro Paradiso, the forthcoming Italian restaurant at Spring and Sixth from the guys behind Estela, and there was no paper in the windows and the interior looked pretty far along.

••• Tribeca Mama pointed out that “the main ‘Tribeca’ episode of ‘The Affair’ [on Showtime] aired last Sunday! Season 2 Episode 10. It is shown that the main characters have been living in 1 N. Moore and they filmed a pretty long scene on the street in front of 25 N. Moore.”

••• Peeked into the eastern storefront at 125 Chambers, in the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Hard to tell what might come of it, but there’s a downstairs level, which I wouldn’t have guessed.

••• The fantastic butterscotch pot de crème is back on the menu at North End Grill; apparently, we can thank chef Eric Korsh for it, since he’s handling desserts these days (former pastry chef Tracy Obolsky left last month).
