[…] The space will house pieces from the site’s favored designers—including Alison Lou, Pamela Love, Ileana Makri, Carolina Bucci and Amedeo—as well as serve as a launching pad for new offerings before they hit the site. ••• A reader sent three Broadway updates. First: The Roll and Go dollar slice joint at 362 Broadway (at Franklin) is becoming half Black Burger. The two are side-by-side at Canal and W. Broadway.

••• Second: A peek inside the demolition at 396 Broadway (south side of Walker). That’s the building being converted to a hotel with a Blue Bottle café on the ground floor; there’s no word on exactly what the hotel will be like, other than cheap. I can’t shake the suspicion it’ll be an Ace.

••• And third: Something is happening in the retail space at 400 Broadway (north side of Walker).
