Make this Thanksgiving a little easier—and more delicious—by ordering a dessert from one of our many local bakeries. It doesn’t have to be pumpkin pie, either…. But whatever you order, do it soon.
KIVA CAFÉ
• Is there pumpkin pie? Yes, a 10-inch one that costs $28.
• But I hate pumpkin pie: There’s also a three-berry pie and an apple cranberry pie (also $28).
• Actually, I don’t like pie: Try carrot bread or banana bread.
• Anything else I should know? Kiva muffin, scone and pancake mix gift baskets are also available.

• Pick-up: No.
• Delivery: Nov. 23 or 24. There’s a $15 delivery fee. Get free delivery when ordering three or more pies.

TRIBECA TREATS
• Is there pumpkin pie? No.
• But it’s not Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie! Try pumpkin whoopie pies, pumpkin cheese cake (individual or 9-inch) or pumpkin cake with cinnamon buttercream frosting (various sizes, including cupcakes).
• Actually, I don’t like pumpkin: There are also plain and mocha cheesecakes, cookie and mini-cupcake trays, chocolate-dipped figs, and all kinds of cakes—pecan spice, cranapple cider, blueberry “cheesecake,” carrot, red velvet, vanilla, devil’s food, and black-and-white (all of which are also available as cupcakes).
• Anything else I should know? The cookie/cupcake trays and chocolate-dipped figs make nice host gifts, or pick up a chocolate box stocked with truffles, or a tin of Thanksgiving cookies for the kids.

LITTLE PIE COMPANY
• Is there pumpkin pie? The 10-inch one costs $25. Five-inch (serves 1–2) and 8-inch (serves 6) pies are also available.
• But I hate pumpkin pie: Then try the sour cream apple walnut pie, old-fashioned apple pie, sugarless apple pie, Southern pecan pie, Mississippi mud pie, or three-berry pie.
• Actually, I don’t like pie: There’s also an applesauce carrot cake, New York cheesecake, and pumpkin nut bread, as well as cookies, muffins, brownies, cakes, etc.
• Ordering: By Nov. 19.
• Pick-up: Orders for Thanksgiving Day must be picked up by noon.
• Delivery: Not available, but you can have it shipped by UPS.

• Is there pumpkin pie? Yes. Nine-inch pies are $29.
• But I hate pumpkin pie: There’s also whiskey apple, Michigan sour cherry, pear cranberry, chocolate peanut butter, key lime, maple pecan, banoffee, salty caramel apple, and banana cream pie, most of which are available for preorder for the holidays. All pies are $29.
• Actually, I don’t like pie: How about devil’s food cake, coconut cake, red velvet cake, assorted cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal cookies, pb&j cookies, ginger snaps, or pumpkin cookies?
• Anything else I should know? Bubby’s pie crusts are made with lard.

WHOLE FOODS MARKET TRIBECA
• Is there pumpkin pie? Yes. The 9-inch pie serves 8–12 and costs $11. Vegan pumpkin pies are also available.
• But I hate pumpkin pie. Take your pick from apple, blueberry, cherry, pecan, and vegan-apple-cranberry-currant pies ($14–$16).
• Actually, I don’t like pie. Order a platter of fresh fruit, pumpkin or cranberry-orange tea breads, or brie en croûte stuffed with fall fruit compote; or raid the store’s candy counter. Whole Foods also has a wide assortment of cakes, cheesecakes (pumpkin, vanilla, chocolate, or raspberry), cupcakes, fall-themed cookies, and even a few sugar-free items (such as a cheesecake).
• Anything else you should know? Whole Foods will do the entire meal—and even has vegan dishes and menus.
• Ordering: In person or at wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/tribeca by 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23.
• Pick-up: On Wednesday, Nov. 24, the last time window ends at 10 p.m. On Thursday, Nov. 25, the last window ends at 2:30 p.m.
• Delivery: There’s no delivery for holiday menu items. The store’s regular delivery service on Wednesday, Nov. 24, will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (with a four-hour window), as normal.

BOULEY STUDIO

• Actually, I don’t like pie: The dessert menu includes apple turnovers, brownies, large cookies (chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal currant), and lemon tea cake.
• Anything else I should know? For Thanksgiving, Bouley Studio has a first-come-first-served policy.
• Ordering: Download an order form at davidbouley.com or call 212-608-5829 before noon on Tuesday, Nov. 23. Orders must be placed 48 hours in advance.
• Pick-up: Monday, Nov. 22, through Thursday, Nov. 25. (You’ll choose a time window.) Last pickup is 4 p.m. on Thursday.

• Actually, I don’t like pie: Well, there’s always the handcrafted vanilla ice cream.
• Anything else I should know? Pies are made with ingredients from Greenmarket purveyors—honey from Twin Spruce Apiaries, flour and oats from Cayuga Pure Organics, butter and cream from Ronnybrook Farm, and Crispin apples from Red Jacket Orchards.
• Ordering: Online at wichcraftnyc.com, by calling 212-780-0577, or at any Wichcraft locations. The last day to order is Monday, Nov. 22.
• Pick-up: Pick up your pies at the Wichcraft location of your choice on Tuesday, Nov. 23, or Wednesday, Nov. 24, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
• Delivery: Delivery is free within Wichcraft’s normal zones. Deliveries can be made on either Tuesday, Nov. 23, or Wednesday, Nov. 25, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. or 1–5 p.m. (you choose a window).

• Actually, I don’t like pie: How about pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin walnut loaf, or hand-decorated cookies?
• Anything else I should know? Duane Park Patisserie also has cookies that can be iced with names and used as placecards.
• Ordering: Orders must be placed by Sunday, Nov. 21.
• Pick-up: Until 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24.
• Delivery: No.

BILLY’S BAKERY
• Is there pumpkin pie? Yep. The 9-inch pie serves 6–8 and costs $24.
• But I hate pumpkin pie: Other options include pecan, cherry, peach, key lime, apple crumb, banana cream, coconut cream, and peanut butter chocolate.
• Actually, I don’t like pie: For something semi-traditional, consider caramel pecan cheesecake, pumpkin bars, or cupcakes with holiday-themed decorations. And there are many other types of cakes—yellow, chocolate, banana, German chocolate, carrot, red velvet, coconut, and pineapple upside-down. Other cheesecake flavors include plain, cherry, chocolate, and blueberry. And don’t forget lemon bars, brownies, Hello Dollies, cookie sandwiches….
• Ordering: Call anytime through Friday, Nov. 19 or stop by the bakery.
• Pick-up: The last pick-up window is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24.
• Delivery: Yes, but there’s a $20 fee for anywhere in Manhattan.

BIRDBATH
• Is there pumpkin pie? Yes. It’s $40 and serves 8 to 10.
• Actually, I don’t like pie: There’s also a cranberry, caramel and almond tart; a dark chocolate custard tart; and boxes of assorted cookies.
• Anything else I should know? Birdbath (and its parent, City Bakery) will cater the entire Thanksgiving dinner, including heritage turkeys (limited supply), sides, and rolls.

• Pick-up: All pick-ups are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 24 (open till 6 p.m.).

TAKAHACHI BAKERY

• Delivery: No.

• Is there pumpkin pie? There’s a crostata di zucca, available in two sizes: the 3-inch individual one for $4 and the 7-inch one (serves 6) for $24.
• Actually, I don’t like pumpkin: Try the ginger rye spice cakes ($4 individual) or apple bread pudding ($36).
• Ordering: Call or stop by before Tuesday, Nov. 23
• Pick-up: You can pick up at any of Grandaisy’s three locations; the Tribeca one will be open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
