Seen & Heard: 111 Church Has Not Been Condemned

••• Swiss Institute appears to have left 102 Franklin.

••• “Manhattan Youth is proud to announce its New York Mini Golf Open for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced to benefit Manhattan Youth’s After-School Financial Aid Program. The ticket ($125) includes: one round of golf on our 18-hole golf course in addition to burgers, hotdogs, wine and beer.” It’s the evening of October 11.

••• According to the Department of Buildings, 111 Church has not been condemned to demolition; in fact, after a full structural stability inspection, the building was determined to be stable. That doesn’t mean, of course, that the owner might not use the fire as an opportunity to redevelop the property (i.e., tear it down and start over).

••• Mulberry & Vine has reopened after being closed for a quick renovation. Looks great! (Do check out the wall paper in the ground-floor restroom.)

••• I had heard that Quick Cryo was opening inside the new Sweaty Betty store at Church and Franklin, but it’s actually sandwiched in between Sweaty Betty and Tracy Anderson.

••• Jubilee Vape & Smoke is open on Church between Reade and Chambers.

••• Placard reform really seems to be working out.
