The big question is when the city will start enforcing its own rules, so that 101 Barclay and other scofflaws either open up their “public” spaces or pony up something else in exchange. And/or: Change the law that lets developers build larger for public amenities it never has to deliver.

HHC Cobblestones LLC is the Seaport District; 19 Fulton is where Clinton Hall is, and 203 Fulton is a non-place, which makes me wonder whether it’s not actually 23 (the Guess store). It’s interesting that Howard Hughes Corp. appears to be the primary owner of the various bars/restaurants opening at the Seaport—is it just essentially hiring operators rather than leasing? Either way, CB1 should inquire as to who’s operating these venues. It didn’t for the Pier 19 discussion last month.
