••• Asphalt Green’s pools will be closed for three weeks this year (August 18 to September 8) for the annual cleaning. In the facility’s early days, members got to use the pool uptown during the closure, but that hasn’t been the case for a while. UPDATE 7/20: While that was the word on the pool deck, the administration says the pool will reopen on September 4.

••• Maharishi says it’s opening its Lispenard store at the end of the month—and, indeed, it’s touting the shop online.
••• There’s work going on in the former Black Burger restaurant at 362 Broadway. HAP Investments plans to build a 40-unit condo at the site, which it’s calling 65 Franklin (the rendering at the time of the announcement), but the Department of Buildings filing is just for removing plumbing fixtures from the retail space.
••• Sanyo Tribeca Gallery appears to be open in the former hpgrp space on Vestry.
