The Broadsheet reports that the park way downtown named for civic activist Elizabeth Berger has slipped an additional five months behind schedule, according to the park department. The public plaza will be bounded by Greenwich Street, Edgar Street and Trinity Place, along with an exit ramp from the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel. The effort to build the park is being spearheaded by the Downtown Alliance to honor Berger, its former president who died in 2012 from pancreatic cancer.
