Kori is far more appealing than the restaurants up in Koreatown: The space is narrow and high-ceilinged, decorated in a contemporary style. The menu has several specialties: ssam sets (lettuce wraps), bibimbap (rice-based dishes served sizzling in hot stone bowls), and juhn (which Kori calls pizzas but they’re more akin to pancakes). The staff is friendly and low-key, and the small bar up front has a following of regulars. Closed December 2019.
