The new Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center — which I have decided to call the Perelman PAC until something else takes hold — topped off in June and is now almost fully clad in its wafer-thin marble. There’s more info in this post here, but the short answer is completed in 2023.
The marble is from Portugal and is laminated with insulated glass. During the day, sunlight will shine through, illuminating PAC’s interior. At night it glows from within.
The layout of the marble is truly spectacular!
Beautiful stone! Can’t wait to see it glowing.
