TRNK OPENS AT 18 JAY
The design showcase TRNK is opening today at 18 Jay, but at least for the time being is by appointment only until they are fully staffed. “The space showcases our TRNK Collection designs, alongside rotating exhibitions from global art and design talents. A maze-like display of small, but thoughtful moments, we encourage you to meander, sit, and spend some time with us.” Open Tuesday to Friday, 11a to 6p. Make an appointment here.

CYNTHIA ROWLEY IS NOW A STORE
In other Jay Street news, I didn’t full realize that the Cynthia Rowley office and studio on Jay and Staple is now a store — open Monday to Saturday, 10a to 6p.

MEDRITE MAKING PROGRESS
Can’t say I love the plastic signage on such a handsome building, but I guess I didn’t expect them to craft something in cast iron, as fab as that would have been. No word on when it will be open, but the interiors are coming along.
