TENNIS SIGN-UP SHEET RETURNS TO WMP
The Washington Market Park tennis sign-up sheet returns to the park on April 1, the official start of tennis season for the NYC Parks Department. The court has been first come, first served (love an accidnetal pun) all winter. See more info here.

TWO NEW STORE OPENINGS
Both Madison Reed, the hair coloring chain on Duane, and Plump, a cosmetic injectables and skincare studio chain on Reade, are open for business, but both stores were a cagey with me when I stopped by to grab pictures and offer up a feature — so I will just leave it at this for now. (The Madison Reed employees were super nice and friendly but when their PR team got wind of my visit they were asked to tell me not to publish any pictures!)

GET READY TO SHRED
The Friends of Duane Park are hosting its annual Shred Day on Saturday, April 22, 10a – 2p in honor of Earth Day. Papers can be dropped into the mobile shredder in Duane Park for free.
