MCINERNEY’S RETURN TO THE ODEON
The Times has a profile on Jay McInerney, who traces his superfame as an author in the 1980s, much of it set in Tribeca, through to his days now. He just released “See You on the Other Side,” the fourth and final book in his best-selling series that began in 1992 with “Brightness Falls” and which returns to The Odeon — where they also hosted the book launch. As for life at 71, “I’ve traded cocaine for fitness,” McInerney told The Times.

Crain’s reports that 515 Greenwich at Spring is being listed as a potential development site in Hudson Square. The property is owned by Mark Epstein, the brother of Jeffrey Epstein.
CHAMPAGNE IN THE BATHTUB AT 110 HUDSON
The Times has a tour of interior designer and founder of the lifestyle brand EyeSwoon Athena Calderone’s apartment at 110 Hudson, where the champagne was stashed on ice in one of the bathtubs. The best part: Martha Stewart casually mentions that she used to date the former owner of the apartment — architect and Tribecan Theirry Despont! “For a couple years, while he dated many other people at the same time,” she said with a laugh.
