••• “The Battery Park City Authority has begun a major repair project in South Cove, the inlet near the foot of South End Avenue. The project, which is budgeted at approximately $500,000, will rehabilitate the deck and walkway along the north side of the miniature harbor (called the Lower Quay), as well as the jetty on the opposite side.
