The Juice Press is opening in Tribeca. The company—which has 15 stores in New York City and two in the Hamptons—posted these two photos on Facebook, along with “juice press TriBeCa. coming soon!” I couldn’t quite figure out where that is—had a bit too much “grape juice” last night, if we’re going to be honest—so I called and got one of the most intense automated telephone operators I’ve ever encountered. A nice real person told me it’s on Greenwich Street and it’ll open in a couple months.
Can anyone determine where this is? I’ll check it out when I walk uptown tonight, but I bet someone out there will recognize it. Could it be the southeast corner of Laight? UPDATE: Well + Good confirms it’s next to the Flywheel Sports also coming to 415 Greenwich, on the east side, between Hubert and Laight.
About the Juice Press: “the juice press is the first highly specialized, grab and go, raw food, raw dessert, super food smoothie, and cold pressed juice bar on the planet. we are certified kosher by the IKC (international kosher council). our primary task is to produce the best cold pressed juice 24 hours a day on our norwalks. we bottle this type of juice and it remains fresh for 2 to 3 days, unlike juice made on a rotary machine.” (The spray-painted text in the photos are names of juices.) It also makes smoothies and raw food.

@Rohin: No, it’s at Laight. I walked by last night and saw the graffiti.
What are some of the other juice bars? I remember reading a juice place might go in the Il Mattone Space? I used to get juice at Peace and Love – but that has closed too. Ps … Work seems to have finally started at Dylan Prime – have they let you know their plans?
@Katie: I probably should’ve clarified—bottled juice is everywhere (Mulberry & Vine, Kaffe 1668, Whole Foods, and many others, I think, but I’m not really a juice person). Yorganic sells fresh juice, and I’m pretty sure Sweetgreen (the place coming to Il Mattone) will have it.
