The bad news is that Cristina Dos Santos is closing her home decor shop at 39 N. Moore at the end of May, with “amazing sales and a fond farewell” until then.

The good news is that you can continue to access her taste via her interior design practice, although you’ll have to venture up to her new office in the Meatpacking District (71 Gansevoort) to meet with her. “From Tribeca to the High Line, still in the shadow of Bubby’s,” she emailed me. “When I went to  look at the new space and saw the Bubby’s sign, I knew I had found my new home.”

P.S. She also said that she knew of no new tenant for the space (because she knew I was going to ask). In the past, there had been the possibility of a high-end Mexican restaurant and store from one of the Gap family of brands.
