••• Lots of work happening at two condo sales offices…. First, the Woolworth Building condo sales office will be at 11 Warren (above), and they just put up a new transom window; visits to the office will be by appointment only. Second, I peeked over the paper at the presumed 443 Greenwich sales office at the southeast corner of Hudson and Vestry and there’s a full kitchen just inside.
••• Macaron Café, coming to 303 Greenwich, has a pretty new awning. They’re shooting for a June opening.
••• Ask and ye shall receive (sometimes): Tribecax was hoping for an update on the Hudson Street construction project. Here it is…. Leonard Street (above) will reopen this week, and the overall project is still slated to be completed sometime around the new year (a year ahead of schedule, as hard as that may be to believe). The underground work may be finished early in the winter, in which case temporary asphalt will be installed and everything will be opened back to traffic. The workers will then return in the spring to repave or install cobblestones.
••• If I were District Council 37, “New York City’s Largest Public Employee Union,” I’d be so tempted to erect a billboard atop my headquarters at 125 Barclay. Sure there’s something the union would like to say to Goldman Sachs across the street.

I suggested once it be considered for a school—it even has a yard—but someone who works there didn’t love the idea….
