••• A New York Post article about road construction in New York City touched on the Chambers reconstruction project: “The work between Broadway and West Street was slated to end in 2013 but is now facing a spring 2015 completion.” (The DDC has long said it might be mostly done in 2014 with some final paving once the winter is over, but maybe this is worse than that? I just left a message to see if I can get some clarification.)
