Seen & Heard: Blue Bottle Is Said to Be Coming Back

••• A reader ran into Blue Bottle founder James Freeman the other day, and Freeman said that Blue Bottle is opening a Tribeca location (its one at All Good Things closed in July of 2013). He also said it’d be in a hotel on the 350 or 360 block of Broadway. The candidates I’m aware of are 346 Broadway (with the clocktower), but they were said to be dropping the plan for hotel rooms. 355 Broadway (including where Cafe Boca Ciega used to be), meanwhile, is a Toll Brothers project, and they don’t do hotels; plus, it’s so far from being done. Same goes for 360 Broadway (which is L-shaped and includes at least one building on Franklin), which appears stalled. So that leaves 396 Broadway (at Walker), which does include hotel rooms (but is obviously not on the 350/360 block). Then again, it also seems a long way from being done. I tried asking Freeman, but he’s gone mum. If you have any intel, please drop me a line: email tribecacitizen@gmail.com or call/text 917-209-6473.

••• L.A. hairstylist Chaz Dean tweeted that he’s opening a salon in Tribeca. The Periscope link expires by the time I got to it, so I don’t know where it’ll be. (Do you?)

Chaz Dean tweet••• Congrats to locally owned LuliTonix, which is opening its first retail location “later this month at Soho Strength Lab (182 Mulberry St). The storefront will serve as a pick-up location for cleanses and stock a full assortment of LuliTonix blends, potions, and a specially curated retail assortment.”

••• Houseman’s opening has been pushed back a bit. Stay tuned….

••• The doors to 415 Broadway were open this morning, offering a peek at the Walgreens-to-be. (It’s in the Art Moderne National City Bank of New York building at Canal and Lispenard.)

415 Broadway••• And the doors to 307 (?) Church were open, too. That’s the storefront next to Belle Reve, currently used as a warehouse—with  Burrito Bar signage still up on the door!

Was this site put back on the market to be flipped?
