In June, Blue Bottle founder James Freeman told a TC reader that the company had plans to return to Tribeca (it had been in All Good Things)—specifically, inside a hotel opening on the 350-360 stretch of Broadway. The nearest hotel in development, however, was 396 Broadway (southeast corner of Walker), which just yesterday we learned would have room rates around $200 a night. Now Bridgeton Holdings, which is developing the hotel with the Amirian Group, has confirmed that Blue Bottle is opening on the Broadway side of the building.
The hotel could soft-open as early as the end of 2016, according to yesterday’s report—but the Amirian Group’s website says “winter 2017.” Below: a rendering of the façade, presumably by DXA Studio, the project’s architect.
