I feel sorry for Posman. That was a really nice store, with little padded nooks in the children's area specifically meant for reading. They closed their Grand Central location recently as well. The Hermès perfume store in Brookfield is getting ready to open Wednesday at 10:00 am so maybe it's part of that? It's really delightful to walk down the path under the trees. I've been here more than 35 years and at that time, the First Precinct had one of the lowest person-on-person crime rates in the 5 boroughs.
