  • This senseless murder was an extreme tragedy. The NYC Mayoral Election is upon us. VOTE FOR A CANDIDATE WHO WILL ENFORCE THE STRICTEST GUN LAWS POSSIBLE. Stop the senseless killings. The post with the unhinged reader blaming the Jews should be removed immediately. — Emily on Battery Park City resident shot by husband on Greenwich Street

  • And thank you to James for being as reliable as ever. His thorough explanation of the meaning behind these signs in the post. My summary: on a scale of 0 to 4 with 4 being "deadly," there is a #2 for a health hazard (must be chemicals in the labs); a 0 for flammability; a #1 for slightly hazardous reactivity (physics!); and an OX for oxidizer, something like oxygen, hydrogen peroxide and the halogens designed to get substances to accept electrons. • I also recommend Gouverneur- both times I went, admittedly a few months ago, the line was fast, I did not need to show insurance, and in mid September, I got result in less than 2 days. And there is a Citibike dock right across the street. — Robert Ripps on And so it begins…again.

  • A couple more.... Bread shop Cafe (our most frequent eatery when we moved to Tribeca. Sadly, it closed soon after.) Ham Heaven (a Sunday morning ritual) Acute Cafe (are there once, overpriced and trying too hard to be hip) Tenbrooks (ate there several nights each week) Barnabus Rex (not really a restaurant, more a dive bar but great cheese toasties. • I don't like to hear myself talk. You, however, didn't ok my initial post for what reason? I didn't mention you in it but did say this woman should've been told ditch 4 of her 5 birthday entourage members or she gets no test. So again, I'm wrong to call her out when I'm not? She was a selfish jerk who should've been denied a test for not following social distancing rules like everyone else. — Follow The Rules on And so it begins…again.

  • Hello everyone! This is Edgar the dog trainer from Unleashed Tribeca. I still train dogs in the area if you are looking for a trainer. I was working most by myself there, but I also had a great trainer that helped me out in the mornings called Genevieve, if you remember.
