I randomly walked passed this the other day and it is great- even better in person! — wow on Art in Tribeca: Roy Lichtenstein at 3 World Trade Center
I voted for Mamdani after having voted for Cuomo in the Primary. Cuomo ran a horrible campaign and.after both Trump and Stephen Miller endorsed the former governor I was very proud of my Mamdani vote, as were so many of the old time Tribecans I met at my poll site. But I was especially proud of the young voters who were so fired up for our new young Mayor. — Duane St Mom on Mamdani wins mayoral race; Cuomo takes Tribeca
Let’s give ZM a chance. Most of what I read above is amped up misinformation at best, and classism and racism at worst. Tribeca is out of step on this one - this is clear from the maps of the entire city. — Alexandra Neil on Mamdani wins mayoral race; Cuomo takes Tribeca
It’s damning that TC allows plenty of racist and insulting language but when someone calls it out it gets deleted. — Cd on Mamdani wins mayoral race; Cuomo takes Tribeca
Wow, Tribeca voted like Staten Island- so proud (not). Seriously, after reading the TC comments over the years, I think some of you are not meant for urban living. Tribeca was settled by artists and now it's filled with entitled 1%ers that, in anonymous comments, let your classism show. You hide your racism better. Cuomo was an incompetent nepo baby governor who resigned to avoid prosecution and would have been a worse mayor. Cuomo was endorsed by Trump and Elon! It's time for a new generation to take over City Hall, and I'm excited (not scared) by this new chapter. Do I think Mamdani is perfect? No, but I rest easy knowing he'll be 100% better than Cuomo. — ZKM on Mamdani wins mayoral race; Cuomo takes Tribeca
Way to embarrass us, TriBeCa ! Anyways, congrats to Mr. Mamdani ! — Ka on Mamdani wins mayoral race; Cuomo takes Tribeca
So, Mandami voters, what is it about his policies that you like? Free Busses? MTA owns that one and good luck. legalized prostitution? can't wait for the action on pier 25,26. higher RE taxes for "white" neighborhoods, last time I checked Tribeca is in those crosshairs. rent freezes? I don't think those will apply to $15,000 a month 2 bedrooms in Tribeca. I Plaza has very few non market apps. left. Social workers showing up instead of police, what could go wrong? not enforcing crimes, wonderful. higher Corp. taxes? NY already losing jobs. ad the best one of all, close prisons. I'm sure I missed some things, maybe even some positive normal policies. — S on Mamdani wins mayoral race; Cuomo takes Tribeca
What a disgusting take. I hope you never need food or housing assistance. — Nicole on Mamdani wins mayoral race; Cuomo takes Tribeca
Proud Cuomo voter here. Can’t wait to start seeing the weed shops and homeless roaming the streets of Tribeca. Anyone who says that they are disappointed to see tribecians vote for Cuomo must be those on section 8 housing and lucky they winded up in Tribeca. — Sandra on Mamdani wins mayoral race; Cuomo takes Tribeca

Not to mention tacit or active approval of the incredibly gross gutter racism the campaign engaged in. Cuomo has no shame. — malcolm on Mamdani wins mayoral race; Cuomo takes Tribeca
So disappointing to see Tribeca lean towards Cuomo. Guess majority of our neighbors love themselves and their pocketbooks, vs wanting an affordable (and Trump free) city for everyone. — MME on Mamdani wins mayoral race; Cuomo takes Tribeca
