Classic rock (with patrons yelling to be heard over it), red lights, a pool table, and a huge list of beers on tap or by the bottle—there are bars just like Tribeca Tavern all around the country. It’s not grotty, though, and the atmosphere is much less raffish than at, say, the Patriot. Seating is plentiful, both at tables and the long bar, and the food menu offers standbys such as burgers, pizzas, wings, and jalapeño poppers. Note: You can also enter off Sixth Ave.
