Seen & Heard: Añejo Starts Serving Lunch Today

••• J’Spa, the new day spa at 7 Lispenard, has opened. The owner, Jay, invited me to come by. It looks nice! Not as chic as TenOverTen, but not overly basic, either. Jay said he had worked at salons in Soho and Tribeca before opening his own place, so you might recognize him. Also, there are four treatment rooms for massage and other body treatments.

JSpa••• Añejo is serving weekday lunch as of today (and it has nice outdoor seating now). The menu:

••• A reader sent in a bit of history: a Tribeca Task Force pamphlet from 1993. Plus ça change…. And yet one can only imagine what the folks involved—whether they still live here or not—think of the development in Tribeca in the last 10 years.
