TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL
The first half of the slate of films screening at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. Maybe I’m just in a French mood (sounds like a euphemism for something dirty, doesn’t it?), but Heartbreakers and the Serge Gainsbourg movie look like standouts.

EVERYBODY LOVES A BARGAIN
••• Thalassa was on Blackboard Eats, but the deal is gone now. Become a fan of Tribeca Citizen on Facebook and you’ll get this info in time to do something about it. (Note to Brent Park, who commented on the post: I like Blackboard Eats, too! I’m going to Maya tonight, actually, because I’m getting 30 percent off. And I like a free bottle of wine as much as the next guy, but it ain’t 30 percent off the total meal….)

No, don’t just get rid of it: Put it to work. Local consignment expert Tania Anthony (left), of Resale-Riches, can help.

A GRANDDAUGHTER’S CAUSE
Whens he learned that her grandmother had a rare and uncurable disease, Tribeca resident Donna Marotta enlisted a couple of friends and a bunch of contacts in the beauty world to help her throw a benefit on March 16. Read her story.
