There are two things I wish I had known before I went to the restaurant for the first time—and I’m pretty sure you’ll want to know, too. P.S. The sweet-potato fries pictured were the best I’ve ever had (and the lamb shank was a hit among the carnivores).

Renderings offer such an idealized vision of life, and they help those of us not involved in the project to put up with the construction—in this case, of the Asphalt Green community center being built in north Battery Park City. Someday, when the construction is finished, it’ll look like this….
